Lake Leman & Lavaux Wedding Photography in Switzerland
For this photoshoot, I travelled to the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
We photographed this beautiful family wedding session in a small village by Lake Geneva and in the vineyards of Lavaux！
Wedding Photos in the Lavaux Vineyards
We started the session in the beautiful Lavaux vineyards.
The vineyards stretch across the hills overlooking Lake Geneva/Leman and offer some of the most beautiful scenery in Switzerland. Lavaux is also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We walked through the vineyards while taking photographs of the whole family, surrounded by the lake, mountains and vines.
It was the perfect location to capture both romantic wedding portraits of the couple and natural family photographs.
Wedding Photography in a Traditional Swiss Village
After the vineyards, we continued the photoshoot in a small village near Lake Geneva.
The combination of the wedding dress, traditional houses and peaceful village atmosphere created a completely different setting for the photographs.
As we walked through the village, several local people congratulated the couple.
One of the sweetest moments of the day was when a local resident even offered them fresh cherries from their garden.

We finished the session by Lake Geneva.
Since the couple was travelling with their children and family, we wanted this part of the photoshoot to feel relaxed and natural.
Instead of focusing only on posed photographs, we let the children play and encouraged everyone to enjoy the moment together.
Grandparents, parents, children and other family members were all able to join the session.
These spontaneous moments of playing, walking and laughing together often create some of my favourite photographs.
