Choose the Right Photographer for Your Wedding, Couple or Family Session

Choosing your photographer is not just about selecting a date and posing in front of a camera. Above all, it is about trusting someone to tell your story.

Whether it is a gentle newborn session, a family moment filled with laughter and connection, an emotional wedding, a couple’s shoot celebrating your love, or professional photos for your business, choosing the right photographer makes all the difference.

At Moliere Photography, I believe the best images come from real connection, comfort, and a touch of artistry. Here’s what you should look for when choosing your photographer.

Finding a style that truly suits you

Every photographer sees the world differently. Some focus on carefully posed portraits, while others seek to capture spontaneous, authentic moments as they unfold. My approach brings these two worlds together: I guide you just enough to help you feel relaxed and confident, while leaving space for natural smiles, genuine embraces, and those quiet in-between moments that make your images truly unique.

When choosing your photographer, ask yourself a few simple questions:
Do I see myself in these images?
Do they feel timeless, sincere, and true to who we are?

    Comfort Is Everything

A photo session is not just about the final gallery; it is also, and above all, about enjoying the moment itself.

I guide you through every step, from choosing your outfits and selecting the best time of day to enjoy the golden light, to helping you feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.

The best photos happen when you forget about the camera and focus on each other. During sessions, I create an atmosphere where families can laugh, kids can play, and couples can simply be themselves.

Look for a photographer who puts you at ease, it shows instantly in your photos.

    Think About the Setting

Your story deserves the right backdrop. Do you imagine a warm evening walk by Lake Zurich, a playful afternoon in the park with your kids, or a cozy, intimate shoot at home?

Based in Zurich, I happily travel across Switzerland and beyond with Paris holding a very special place in my heart. From the calm of the Swiss lakes and mountains to the timeless charm of Parisian streets and cafés, every location brings its own poetry.

Wherever we meet, I’ll help tailor the session to you so that the setting feels as meaningful as the images we create together.

More Than Photos: Security, Experience, and Trust

Choosing the right photographer also means choosing peace of mind.

A professional photographer does more than simply press a button.
Their experience allows them to anticipate key moments, adapt to any lighting conditions, and handle unexpected situations with calm and discretion.

Every step is designed so that your images are not only captured with accuracy, but also securely stored, carefully refined, and delivered in the best possible conditions.

Nothing is more disappointing than discovering that photos have been lost or corrupted… a risk that a serious professional always anticipates.

    Understand What’s Included

Before booking, it’s important to know what you’ll receive: the number of edited images, delivery timeline, outfit guide ect. At Moliere Photography, I believe in giving you a complete story beautifully edited images ready to relive, share, and treasure.

If you have any questions, you’re welcome to browse my FAQ or contact me directly. I’m here to ensure your entire experience feels effortless, personal, and stress-free.

    Trust Your Connection

Choosing a photographer is personal. Beyond style and packages, ask yourself: Do I feel comfortable with this person? Do I trust them with my story? When the answer is yes, that trust shines through every frame😉

  • Photoshoot: Why You’re Paying for More Than Just a Photo

Photoshoot: Why You’re Paying for More Than Just a Photo

Imagine this: you’re hiking with a friend, the light is perfect, and you snap a quick photo on your phone. It looks good.
But then your friend, who happens to be a photographer, shows you their captured and edited image from that exact moment.

You’re blown away. Your photo looked great, but it wasn’t the whole story.
The difference isn’t just the camera, it’s the format, the editing process and what a professional knows what to do with it.

What you don’t see is everything that happens before and after the shutter clicks. Making sure the image is sharp, that important moments are never missed, the post-production process and that files are safely preserved and never lost.

This invisible care is what transforms a simple picture into a memory you can truly keep.

You’re Investing in a Lifetime of Memories

Have you ever felt a moment fade with time, until a photograph brought it back instantly? Or opened an old family album, running your fingers across faces you didn’t know?

That is the power of a photograph: to preserve life beyond time.

Today, smartphones allow us to capture everything. But some moments are not ordinary.

    An engagement.
    A wedding day.
The first days of a newborn’s life.

    A dream trip overseas.
A fleeting season of togetherness that will never return in the same way.

I believe these moments deserve more than convenience. They deserve presence, care, and the artistry of someone whose responsibility is to protect them from being forgotten.

A Thoughtful Experience From Start to Finish

More than a photographer, I want to be by your side, gently protecting the moments that matter most. From our very first conversation to the delivery of your final gallery, I guide you with care an we work together through a thoughtful and intentional process:

    • preparing the session and guiding you in advance
    • choosing the most beautiful light, timing, and location
    • giving you outfits advices, making sure that everyone is prepared for the day
    • capturing genuine, natural moments as they unfold
    • sorting and editing each image with precision and care

For weddings, this presence becomes even more important. While planners and other professionals guide the flow, their role is not photography, so meaningful moments can easily be missed.

Even after photographing many people and important moments,
I still feel deeply emotional and take my role very seriously.

When I see you using your photographs or sharing them with joy,
it genuinely makes me incredibly happy. Please never hesitate to share those moments with me, it means more than you might imagine !

The Hidden Work Behind the Lens

When you hire my services, you’re not just paying for the moment I press the shutter button. My work doesn’t end after our session. You’re paying for:

    • Professional equipment capable of capturing high-quality photos.
    • Backup systems that protect your memories from loss or corruption.
    • Time and skills in post-production where images are polished. I carefully adjust colors, refine skin tones, and remove distractions: whether that’s an unwanted passerby, background clutter, or a small blemish. These refinements draw the focus back to the connection in the moment, adding a sense of intimacy and timelessness to your photos.
    • A creative vision that turns moments into memories you’ll want to keep forever.

The all-in-inclusive vs the do it yourself

Do you know the difference between JPEG and RAW ?

Think of a JPEG like booking an all-inclusive vacation. It’s packaged, ready to enjoy, and you don’t have to think much about the details. But it’s also fixed: you eat the food they serve, go on the tours they’ve planned, and you can’t change much if you want something different. A JPEG, while quick and convenient, limits what can be changed or customized later in the editing process.

A RAW file is like planning your own trip from scratch. You choose the exact places to go, the best restaurants, the hidden gems off the beaten path. It takes more time and effort, but the result is unique, personal, and perfectly tailored.

By photographing in RAW, I craft your visual story from the ground up, with complete freedom to refine every detail in post-production (skin tones, colors, recover lost details) and ensure your images are delivered with the highest level of quality and care.
